October 1, 2009 – H&S Environmental announced today that they will be attending the SAME Small Business Conference in Grapevine, Texas December 7-9, 2009. They will be displaying their services aimed at expanding business with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers and other DoD agencies and their prime contractors, providing environmental engineering, remediation, compliance and long term operation and maintenance support.
February 25, 2009 – H&S Environmental, Inc. (H&S) announced today the award of a performance-based multi-year ID/IQ contract from the U.S. Navy NAVFAC Mid Atlantic Region to perform facility management services including periodic tank cleaning and waste disposal at the SUBASE New London in Groton Connecticut. Under the terms of this contract, H&S provides waste disposal services for all bulk hazardous and special wastes generated at the Sub Base and provides periodic cleaning of storage tanks, oil water separators, lift stations, grease traps, and other waste storage areas at various facilities on the Base. H&S has worked at the Sub Base since 2006 providing regularly scheduled water discharge compliance sampling, testing, and reporting services. This 5-year ID/IQ and FFP contract was awarded on a competitive basis. H&S President Debi Heims stated “We are very excited to extend our delivery of responsive environmental services with the Navy and with the SUBASE New London under this new contract. Our value added services are demonstrated by this award of our second contract with NAVFAC MidLant and fourth with NAVFAC. November 15, 2008 – H&S Environmental announced today that they will be attending the USACE Small Business Conference in Memphis Tennessee December 8 -10, 2008. They will be rolling out their new marketing campaign aimed at expanding business with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers and other DoD agencies and their prime contractors, providing environmental engineering, remediation, compliance and long term operation and maintenance support.
July 1, 2008 – H&S Environmental today announced the award of a new contract with the Naval Facilities Command Southeast (NAVFAC SE) to perform a RCRA removal action at the Naval Weapons Station, Charleston, SC. This remedial construction contract involves the excavation and recycling and disposal of approximately 4,000 tons of construction debris and hazardous materials deposited in a densely forested area. “H&S is pleased to be afforded the opportunity to expand our presence in the Southeastern United States working with this very important client” said Debi Heims, president of H&S. “This contract allows us to continue our outstanding work with NAVFAC SE and the Naval Weapons Station in Charleston”.
February 5, 2008 – H&S Environmental announced today the award of an Environmental Services ID/IQ contract with the U.S. Coast Guard, CEU Providence. This multi-year award allows H&S to provide environmental engineering, compliance, assessment, abatement, remediation, and response services to the U.S. Coast Guard throughout the New England, Eastern New York, and Northern New Jersey areas.
